This bitter comedy by Ben reimagines the English, British and European three-way tug of war over Brexit as the messy collapse of a throuple marriage between an English man, an English woman and their European husband.

London company Brave New Word programmed the short play in their “Break-Up Britain”-themed showcase at SLAM, King’s Cross in September 2016, performed by Rose O’Loughlin, Joseph Passafaro and Romilly Wells.

Ben directed a reworked version at LOST Theatre that November, featuring Paul Bloomfield, Sarah Leigh and Sam Raffal. An industry panel voted it through to the final round of the venue’s annual Five-Minute Play Festival.
